Nigeria army Swept kwara villages in search of kidnappers hideout

Officers of the Nigeria army embark on a joint Anti-kidnapping operation in the southern part of kwara state aimed at establishing control over potential kidnappers hideout in the state, this is propose to also build confidence in the security situation of the state.

In the statement released by the SSA on New media to Gov Abdulrahman, the locations patrolled are
Omu-Aran axis
Obbo-Aiyegunle axis
Iloffa axis.

In other incident Troops of Sector 3 Operation HADARIN DAJI of the Nigerian Army have neutralised scores of bandits when they stormed Kabasa Village in Magami Local Government Area of Zamfara State on Tuesday.
The operation which was carried out following a tip-off forestalled a kidnap and plundering operation by the bandits which was underway.
Unfortunately, one soldier lost his life while three others suffered varying degrees of injuries in the shoot out with the bandits.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Director, Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima.
