RAAMP 700km project complete second road project in kwara

The Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) that sought to provide good linkage roads between rural communities and urban centers was flagged off by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq a few months ago in fulfillment of his campaign promise to work for the greater good of Kwarans.

The RAAMP project would see to the construction of 700 kilometers of rural roads in the state.

The flag-off of 5.2km took place at Alapa-Arobadi road as part of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) in Kwara State.

Under this project, the administration will upgrade 125 kilometers of road to asphalt or sealed materials, carry out spot improvement on 450 kilometers of road, and routine maintenance on 700 kilometers of road.

The government will also carry out the backlog of maintenance on 200 kilometers of road, five river crossings will be fixed, while some existing markets will be upgraded to hubs.

Kondoro Alagbede – Akbuyo is one of the road projects captured for construction. The project is now at an advanced stage of completion with asphalt laying currently being done. #Isenlo
